Dress The Part: An engagement shoot in historic Ellicott City Maryland

Dress the part and bring the WOW! Themed engagement photos are really awesome! I worked with this lovely couple and we went for a cinematic type engagement photo session. Historic Ellicott City is a beautiful place to do your engagement session. It has lots of character and hidden gems for the perfect spot! It has many small business stores with lots of interesting merchandise. This shoot was done right on Main Street. We took a walk and made photos!

6 Tips for a themed engagement shoot:

• Decide on a theme and keep it simple
• Dress the part. Use clothing or accessories you already have
• Get into the part! If you believe you are the character, it will show!
• Plan on having fun the day of your shoot and don’t make other plans that could ruin the mood. I recommend finding a place in the area to grab some food, drinks and maybe a treat after your shoot. You won’t regret it.
• Be open to ideas and both of you really have to want to do the theme
• BE EXCITED!
