Rise Up Community Center: Working with the youth and families of Carroll County Maryland

This is Katie and Angel with Rise Up Community Center located in Westminster, MD. I’ve known Katie for a while now. I did her senior photos for high school and now she is already a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) and the Executive Director of the community center. It seems like yesterday when I made her senior photos. Time does go by fast and this lady is hitting the ground running. I stopped out today and got to see the new community center. It’s perfectly located on Main Street directly across from Pizza Bolis. For reals; a pizza joint right there, and who doesn’t like pizza. The community center feels warm and inviting for the youth and families. I also met Angel, the Director of Development for the community center. I asked them for a portrait and away we went to the front of the building. A few snaps later and we got the portrait. Westminster is lucky to have Katie, Angel, the Partners, and the volunteers to help the youth and families in Carroll County.
